gerhardt 0 Posted May 11, 2008 We were just talking about baseball today and how this hitting the batter can be used as a tactic to keep a good hitter at bay. I like the perspective and how you have used DOF to maintain a focal point as well as adding depth to the story. Link to comment
kellyphillips 0 Posted June 2, 2008 I got lucky on this one for sure. What do you think? Link to comment
fotodaniella 0 Posted June 2, 2008 The detail on the ball hitting the leg is impressive, great capture! Link to comment

kirt1 0 Posted February 2, 2009 As the old saying from Seneca (according to thinkexist.com) goes, "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity." You chose an interesting angle, were probably at least attempting to time the ball and your preparation met an opportunity. in all good sports action photos, the play has to happen and you have to be ready to catch it. Nice! Link to comment
kellyphillips 0 Posted February 3, 2009 Thanks Kirt. This is my favorite angle for baseball/softball. It's really hard at this field because the fence is bright silver and the games are always just before sunset. The sun really hits that silver and sometimes it shows up. This was my first season shooting sports. I'm really looking forward to this season! Link to comment
