A Monarch Among His Subjects
Around late August to early October, thousands of monarch butterflies descend upon northern Texas on their way to Mexico on a multi-generational migration which takes them thousands of miles. One popular stop in north Texas are the "gardens" at the University of Texas Southwestern. I made a series of photographs with a Canon EOS S and Kodak GC film, with 35-70mm and 70-300mm zoom lenses.
