Ottima composizione e ottima riuscita dei dettagli che sono preservati anche nelle zone di alte luci. Un saluto da Glauco.(7/7 anon.)

Nice capture, El. i have tried it several times (in those days when they allowed cameras with batteries inside the craft!) but never managed to get it this good. compliments -koushik

Fine composition, color, and detail. These through-the-window shots usually don't work. This one really does! Warm regards...

Thank you for your comments and generous ratings.

To Koushik - Photo equipment on the craft is allowed, no problems in Europe.

To Mau - Indeed the movie title is always in my head when bording an aircraft because I am still fascinated with flying in general. Starting with Ikarus...up to date including ultra-lights...

To Richard - I had not the guts to use the 'heavy equipment' in flight but used the little IXUS - and was positive surprised about the quality.

Thank you once again for your visit and comment. Well, the shot turned out surprisingly good because of three reasons : Camera, a quite clean unscratched window , and sun on the port side. Guess the port side sun was the decisive factor. Thanks again Joseph, kind regards, El

Beautiful... I do love sitting in the window to snap high altitude clouds.

This is a perfect capture for me. It seemed I am up there again viewing

this magnificent site.

Thank you very much for visiting and your kind comment.

To Leon - as I said above, you also must have the luck to find a good and clean window - which is very rare these days...but the main aspects for the quality achieved were the late afternoon sun from the port side and that I took the picture during descense. Of course my little Ixus has contributed as well. Best regards, El

I agree with Joseph Popper. I see an interesting balance between the engine at the bottom and the blue sky at the top.
