mikelgondra 0 Posted January 23, 2009 Hi, Anders, nice to know your interesting portrait with so many places in so many countries. I stopped at this photo because, for people like me that have activities in both fields - photos and oil painting - this photo is quite unique due to the blue tones you have taken (or postprocessed ?). You have combined some trees that are quite "warm" (due to the green tones with some yellow content) with others that are quite 100% blue and small touches or red tones in the building (church or castle) and the far forest in the upper right hand. A very beautiful composition with the lake in first distance, lovely. Thanks a lot for sharing, it is a very good one. Ikusi arte - see you. Josemi Gondra. Link to comment
laurent-paul 1 Posted August 27, 2009 Did you get the opportunity to ring the bell ? It is supposed to communicatre with Ziva instead of the later christian god it was supposed to be communicating with when the bell was installed. Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted August 27, 2009 Thanks Josemi and Laurent-Paul - and a great and sincere excuse to Josemi for not having seen his kind comments before now. I never went to the island but walk around it several times. I would not have made the bell chime and be put in danger of being contradicted in my stubborn conviction that Gods don't exist apart from in the imagination of people !! Link to comment
laurent-paul 1 Posted August 27, 2009 Looking at your work, and the extent of your imagination, even if you were witnessing a contradiction to your conviction, it would probably have come from your own mind, therefore not only would you still have kept your convictions, but you would also have had fun ringing the bell ... pnital 36 Posted September 1, 2009 Aside of it being a very nice corner, bright among the greens and blues, with some light reds , beautifulI. Never herd there is a Goddess Ziva ( it is a common name in Hebrew, the root comes from radiant, or glowing light) ...In any event Anders, your conviction is mine as well....;-)) Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted September 2, 2009 Pnina; go and ring the bell and you will see whether thousand of couples have made the 99 steps to ring the bell in vain or it is us that are mistaken about her existence. The lake of Bled in Slovenia is divine, with or without goddesses. Link to comment
