15 minutes after sunset at Pt. Reyes, I came across really beautiful

colors in the sky and reflections in the water that I felt was worth

capturing. Couldn't get a vantage point (because of a fence, I think)

that would let me minimize the foreground, but I shot anyway. The

print is sharper; I cropped a bit from the bottom and the top. I have

to confess at this point that I have never really shot any good

landscape/seascape/"grand vista" kind of photos.

All critiques welcome.

Nice colours well displayed by inclusion of the complementary green. Good composition of including the foreground with some local highlights and the angled shoreline gives depth for interest. The wide format suits. Cheers.

Ah.. A broad expance with lovely pastel colors. I like the foreground. The shore line and waves lead the eyes back through through the photo. I would just like to see a higher resolution. The "large" image here is a bit pixilated and lacks some detail.

This remind me of photos I have seen of a field and there may be just one object outstanding in the field, but that one object (the horse, of course) makes the difference between an empty field and a live photo showing a relationship between things. So here I am wishing for a horse, which in this case would be a ship or something in the upper to middle left to give more scale and definition to the beautiful but empty sea.

Looks fine to me as it is. Nice angle of the shoreline and colours reflected on the water.

The fence was probably beneficial rather than a hindrance, retaining foreground detail helps assess scale.

Very nice. Looks like a painting. I like the way I feel like I'm standing on the bluf looking as far as I can to the North. I have been there many times, it is a most beautiful place.
