miguelangelhoyas 0 Posted August 28, 2002 Great light and composition! Very original too. I love the strenght of the blacks and the contrast that make a kind of ink drawing effect. Congratulations. Link to comment
martin_taylor 0 Posted September 1, 2002 Theres something unreal, almost cartoon-like or computer generated about this shot. Perhaps its the amazing in the clarity detail or the high contrast and simple background. Whatever it is, it works. I seem to see so many pictures of an insect in a flower as people adopt digicams with extreme closeup features but this one really stands out from the crowd. Great work! Link to comment

keith_van_hulle1 0 Posted September 9, 2002 Is this a mutant bee with only two legs? I'm also wondering what kind of flower this is? Ken, is this the way the shot came out of the camera? Link to comment
keith_van_hulle1 0 Posted September 12, 2002 Honeybees have FOUR distinct wings. Hmmmm . . . I wonder if Tim Fitzharris needs an editor for his next book? Link to comment
ken_ng5 0 Posted September 13, 2002 what i did to the pic other than coverting from colour to B&W is to remove the flower edges so that to make the picture more dynamic..yes the bee has 6 legs....4 of which are inside the flowers which are too dark to see clearly... Link to comment
aoelckers 0 Posted September 13, 2002 Excellent shot! This one is perfect. Great job. :0) I like how most of the background is removed. Makes it look very nice and clean, and unlike other macro insect shots. Nice. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 17, 2003 Very original. Excellent composition. What an angle! Hmm.. didn't like the idea a little bit, of removing lines in the flower.. but otherwise, its really good... Link to comment
