Chelsea, the Girl who loved to Model

One of my early nude images. Chelsea never tired of modeling and we

encouraged each other. Your critiques are always welcome.

I love the soft blond hair. However the makeup job seems too intense! The brilliant blue also seems a little garish.

Jerry, thank you for your input. Chelsea was and is a dreamer. She wanted more of her life than she felt like she had. The makeup was all hers and to her it made her glamorous and to me it did achieve that as well. Usually I will photograph my model the way they are unless something about their look really bothers me. I photographed Chelsea for about four years back in the late 90s thru 2001. Now her arm that you see is completely covered with tattoos. I am thinking of photographing her again as her enthusiasm was so enjoyable and she will certainly have a different look. I know that the colors are to the point of being too garish for some folks taste however I happen to favor the rich colors. I do take your point well and I probably should mix in some images with more muted colors for a better-balanced portfolio. By the way this 1998 shot was of Chelsea was when she was 19 years old. I have been converting old film to digital and have very much enjoyed bringing back some of these images to life.
