My first thought in seeing this picture was "Japanese Anime". I don't know if that was your intent, but I think it is a very effective composition in any case.

I would like to know opinions on whether this image would benefit from

cropping or a different framing. I also wonder if one eye is

expressive enough... so any comments are welcome!! thanks,

top notch work pal. very original and eye-catching. the shadows and highlights in such a concentrated area really makes this photograph.

and i appreciate and respect you for the fact that you have stated what you have done up-front in photoshop. there are many who don't bother and we just have to wonder.

keep up the good work.

Very creative image, Marcelo. I think her gaze is definitely engaging, and enjoy the unusual orientation. The contrast is good too. My sole complaint is the softness of the hair in the lower left of the frame. Otherwise an excellent piece of work.

i love the composition and the lighting but i would like it better if the hair was 'clumpier' so as to reveal more of the eye and to simplify the image somewhat.

A very striking photo, and very original. But there is something about it that makes me feel very uncomfortable - not a fault of the photo, but rather a tribute to its effect.
