Snake and Stone

This little garter snake was sun bathing on the edge of a hundred foot

cliff. To get this shot, I had to lean over the edge, which I was very

careful of since I have no sense of place when looking through my

camera. Thankfully, I did not fall off and I got this wonderful shot.

Tell me what you think. Was it worth the risk? Heh.

Yes it surely worths the effort! I like the overall color range on your image (foreground blending with the snake's colors)and the DOF which is also very good as the snake's figure faints on the background. I believe that if you had a little bit more focal length in order to bring out more detail on the snake's head the image would be even better.Well done, nice work, greetings from Greece Mike
