jeffreylee 0 Posted April 27, 2008 This is a place call Mungo lake which is located in the west of Sydney about 1000km ( about 12 hours drive from Sydney) The Lake is dry and the evidence shows that human occupation of the area began around 50,000 years ago. What I was standing and took this photo is a area of erosion led to the formation of the remarkable "lunette" known as the Walls of China that dominates the landscape and reveals so much about the early Aboriginal use of the area.
