loic brohard 0 Posted April 22, 2008 The smoking ban effect ! Well at least I prefer them smoking there than in the kitchen... Well seen, Loic Link to comment
adan1 0 Posted April 25, 2008 Each person is distant and lost in his own world. The door frames the subjects neatly. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted April 26, 2008 I like this very much and you have captured a great moment and the framing is superb especially inview of the fact that it reflects their environs and the street perfectly. I have taken the liberty of cropping it to give you another image, not better, different. See what you think. Best regards. Marco Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 26, 2008 As usual, a very good eye and title! Even it is a bit centered, it does not make a problem here, as the R and L sides are different in their forms and therefor, the composition looks ballanced. If one more possibility I would have cropped a bit from the upper part under the L white ellement, but I like it as is! Link to comment
laurent-paul 1 Posted May 2, 2008 Thank you very much for your time. Marco : of course you are right for many reason, The only thing beeing here that, when these people are having their cigarette break, as Loic noticed, I very often happen to also have mine on the other side of the street. And I have a lot of differetn people "door framed" ! This one was supposed to be the first one of a serie, and in this is with this view I used the actual crop. But then of course, sonce then I shot lots of new photos, and was more interested about working on new ones. I'll try to either upload the other ones, or if I don;t feel like it, then yes, I'll work on a new crop on this photo as a stand alone. Link to comment
