Hmm. Another entry in the "sea of sunflowers beneath Armageddon-like sky" category. This looks too much like a stock photo used in one of those framed motivational posters. It's pretty, though.

For someone who can be a bit harsh on photographs, I have not seen anything better coming from your work. However, I do agree its a very pretty shot.Colors are very nice and saturating. Velvia at its best.

To me, this photo is very good in many ways.

However, I am wondering about the upper part of the sky looks dark (on my laptop sceen), compared to flowers and the field which gave me some sense of not quite natural. I understand what I'm saying may be subjective.

Congrats.

Very nice. Well composed with two Sun flowers on the left edge to balance the hill on the horizon on the right. Didn't check it but it seems the classical division of 1/3rd sky 2/3rd earth.

Nice contrasty and saturated image. I must confess that I kind of like the sureal colors. When I saw it, I inquired myself Velvia + what?! Well done.

Hi Joseph. You know we`ve got hier on Earth some "seas of sunflowers" and "Armageddon-like skies" - sorry. The Nature itself is not kitschy - only the people feel it sometimes kitschy. Maybe we are kitschy, not the Nature. Anyway - what do you mean by this: "...too much like a stock photo..."? Is it stock photography worse kind of photography? I don`t think so. Andreas Babik.

Hello Quan, the upper part of the sky looks dark weil I must used a graduated ND filter. The sky (near horizont) would be too bright (white) without this filter. It was necessary. A.B.

Perhaps this photo is not the most 'original' photo but I don't think that should detract from it. Its a lovely shot and I think many of us would very much enjoy having a photo like this in our collection.

I think making truly original photos is easier said than done, especially if you've seen a lot of photos already. However, just because its been done doesn't mean it can'be be done better or by you.

I like the photo, although colors are a bit to un-natural for me. But, it is still a very nice photo. I like the composition.

The filter manipulation in this picture has been well executed and suits the subject perfectly. It certainly beats sticking a red ball in the foreground.

Color of sky conflicts with flowers. The composition is nice and it is technically fine but the impact is only that the sky is unnaturally orange. Without the sky color no center of interest exists.

This looks as if was somewhere out in space, some other planet! An acidtrip into yourself might be another explanition. Like this one very much!

Nice job - hard to believe it's a straight shot with camera/film/etc instead of computer rework - there's lots of excellent photography on photo.net and this still stands out - unique.
