This was completely over-exposed when the dial on the camera was inadvertently knocked around to a 'M' setting at a slow 1/45 sec setting. I liked the quasi-water colour effect so I kept the image. Thank goodness for IS lens too. A boost to sharpness, contrast and color saturation applied thereafter...

... which quite nicely gave me an image for the 'Slow Shutter Speed' monthly project.

Wonderful and unique! Isn't great that sometimes our most fun and interesting images come from "accidents"? Great work... congrats...LJ

Very nice experiment that turns out surprisingly pleasing result. The bird is almost like a drawing.

Thank you, all you guys and gals,

 

You know what, the real saviour of the moment was the fact that the original is a 'raw' file. There is no way anything worth recovering could have been possible if it were to have been a 'Jay Peg' :=)
