mike_stemberg 40 Posted April 21, 2008 This was completely over-exposed when the dial on the camera was inadvertently knocked around to a 'M' setting at a slow 1/45 sec setting. I liked the quasi-water colour effect so I kept the image. Thank goodness for IS lens too. A boost to sharpness, contrast and color saturation applied thereafter...... which quite nicely gave me an image for the 'Slow Shutter Speed' monthly project. Link to comment
mike_stemberg 40 Posted April 22, 2008 A lucky over-exposure produced this kinda 'arty' image... Link to comment
lesa jones 0 Posted April 22, 2008 Wonderful and unique! Isn't great that sometimes our most fun and interesting images come from "accidents"? Great work... congrats...LJ Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted April 23, 2008 Very nice experiment that turns out surprisingly pleasing result. The bird is almost like a drawing. Link to comment

mike_stemberg 40 Posted April 27, 2008 Thank you, all you guys and gals, You know what, the real saviour of the moment was the fact that the original is a 'raw' file. There is no way anything worth recovering could have been possible if it were to have been a 'Jay Peg' :=) Link to comment
