daniel_graves 0 Posted August 27, 2002 I've never seen this view before and it's particularly interesting for me as I'm going there myself this January. I like the way the foreground and the sky provide a backdrop for the tower. Shows it in a way that goes beyond the usual. Link to comment
jimmcnitt 0 Posted April 9, 2003 This view from Montmatre is one of my favorite prospects -- in part because of the old Pigalle neighborhood visible in the foreground. Your use of sepia and the clever title had me doing a double take to see which century was turning. BTW, except for the ugly little outcropping near Montparness behind the Tour Eiffel in the upper left, strict urban planning policies have kept Paris relatively free of the kind of faceless glass and steel towers that blight so many modern cities. Congratulations on crafting a contemporary classic! Link to comment
paul_schamberger 0 Posted June 6, 2003 Nice image of Paris. The Eifel Tower is commands a lot of interest in the image. Perhaps you should try cropping it to make it a panoramic image? Link to comment
jody 0 Posted June 15, 2003 From Time to Time if you haven't already- this comes from right out of its pages. Exactly how I imagined Paris in 1901- not 2001! This makes me want to go back and try for a shot this good from there! Link to comment
