Cow Canyon

This was taken a few years ago (probably around 2002) at the

northern end of the Escalante arm of the lake. The water level had

dropped (it's just visable in this picture) since my previous visit

a few years before.

 

This canyon is now dry and pretty well inaccessable by boat as lake

levels have dropped even more since it was taken.

I rented a houseboat and spend some time here but I never got to this part of the lake. This is very well done; I like the warm glow and your composition extents the feeling of a large canyon. Bravo on a great image!
