First, I have never been there. Strictly on composition, the lower section of falls without the top is less effective for me. The foreground is very solid, so strong to me that there might be a shot right there in the bottom 2/3 of this image. And please remember, these are merely opinions of someone who did not take the hike into the canyon.

This is a really beautiful image, and unique in the sense that it has an overall softness without being contrived. The soft blue hues contrast subtly with the warmer colors. The lower falls have excellent definition and serve as a strong focal point. I really can't think of anything I would change to improve it. Really well done!

I've been staring at this image for a while now; and most admit that I really like it, but that's just to basic, so I'm looking for the reasons behind me finding it so appealing, and it's not the composition, nor the outstanding colors or just the "nice" place, which are all there. It just is an image that speaks of me of times gone by, where you could actually discover new places like this, when they weren't part of a tour, or a poster hanging on a tourist information office. You've managed to portray this in a pristine, untouched way; thank you for that!
