Wow, it looks like you were in the right place at the right time with the right stuff and the talent to use it! My only quibble would be... that star pattern in the sun looks too good to be "real"... I mean, it looks almost like an "effect" from a special filter or post process work... or is it really the way your camera lens took it? I guess I am being curious more than critical... what did it look like to your eye? Regards, Keith.

It is real. You can get the star pattern if you stop down your aperture to around F22. The number of flare arms depends upon the number of diaphram in the lens.

Beautifull scene.I like the texture throughout the photo.The contrast of the snow and the red rocks is amazing,I think that it really adds alot to this image.Very nicely done!

Can't choose between the vertical and the horizontal: they are both marvellous.
