wogears 186 Posted April 15, 2008 Nice take on a classic subject, with very good light and timing. Not sure I can find any point of sharp focus, though. Link to comment
stevespencer 0 Posted April 15, 2008 This photo is just fascinating to me. I read the tech details and I see you put some very sophisticated tools to very good use here. Regarding the point of focus comment above, mayge a little more sharpening might help (or might not). I think it's an extreme dof shot and I don't know just how you did it. Did you combine two images here? What was your aperture, shutter speed, and ISO? Just would like to know for my own education (I never stop trying to learn new techniques and methods). Thanks for sharing this with us. Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted April 15, 2008 This just couldn't be better! Excellent composition and a perfect exposure. The light on the mitten is terrific. Well done! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
bernie moore 6 Posted April 17, 2008 Nicklaus, looks like you got there just after the perfect light. The mesa could be punched up a little. The symmetry of the two focal points are lacking any dynamics that off centering could bring. The pic is so large that I have to scroll and only see it in parts; this leads me to note that IMHO cropping to the middle of the bush works well. Food for thought. All in all it's a pretty good pic. BTW welcome to photonet, it's a wonderful resource. Regards, Bernie Link to comment
