Opaque projection

I used to paint, without much success, but I found that my paintings looked much better projected onto a model than they did on canvas. Its an old trick, and most of my shots were an utter failure. Hence, another fortuitous accident taken with know-nothing equipment.

It's true, some of the best shots in this world are totally unexpected accidents turned excellent. They make the best surprises after development. ; )

I guess I'm a contrarian, but while I like the idea behind the image, I don't like the image itself. These are my opinions: First, the projection creates the appearance of a skin disease. Second, obscuring a face can create mystery, but here it is simply an obscured face. Third, the "framing" seems random and does nothing for me. Again, I like the idea, but the image is not my cup of tea . . . although it does call to mind a flame, in an intriguing sort of way.
