Opaque projection

very cool.. one of the best projection photos I've seen.. (although admittably I haven't seen too many)

I don't know what it is about this photo, but it seems to be more than the sum of its parts.

Sometimes "accidents" can make the best art. Very dark. Were you projecting a 35mm transparency onto the model?

It's true, some of the best shots in this world are totally unexpected accidents turned excellent. They make the best surprises after development. ; )

I guess I'm a contrarian, but while I like the idea behind the image, I don't like the image itself. These are my opinions: First, the projection creates the appearance of a skin disease. Second, obscuring a face can create mystery, but here it is simply an obscured face. Third, the "framing" seems random and does nothing for me. Again, I like the idea, but the image is not my cup of tea . . . although it does call to mind a flame, in an intriguing sort of way.

This is certainly one way of showing off your paintings.

!!no reason to be ashamed of accidents in art!! this is utterly beautiful.
