A very interesting and nice shot. I do feel the Velvia created an image that was excessively contrasty. IMO in bright light at altitude, Provia 100F yields a more pleasing range of tonalities and color. If you prefer the warm look an 81B does the trick. I live in the Rocky Mts and shoot almost exclusively above 2000 meters elevation. You might give Provia a try on your next alpine trip.
