atle.g 0 Posted August 24, 2002 There is a lot of "weight" on the right side, my question is: too much? Thanks in advance!! Link to comment
scott_hunter2 0 Posted August 24, 2002 The lake (or fjord) looks very deep from the sides of those cliffs! Link to comment
dan_sheppard 0 Posted August 25, 2002 Atle- Very nice. Love the colors, even the greens in the hills. It is hard to get the light reading just right, so the rainbows show up. Be nice if the boat were a little bigger. Link to comment
don_harper_the_edge 0 Posted August 28, 2002 When I first saw this I thought the rainbow was photoshopped. Seeing the second rainbow on the left I am led to believe it's really there. Intense colors! I like it, it's a real attention grabber even as a small jpeg file. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
atle.g 0 Posted August 28, 2002 Thanks for the comments!.... and Don the rainbow is not photoshopped, its real Link to comment
miles_hecker 0 Posted August 30, 2002 Atle, I feel this is an image with good compostion but the exposure or scan is lacking. It is flat in tone and the right side with the rainbow is slightly overexposed. I reset the levels in Photoshop, and burned the area from the Rainbow to the right edge slightly to create what IMO is an improved version. See what you think. Link to comment
atle.g 0 Posted August 30, 2002 Thanks for the suggestion, miles, i always appreciate sincere and constructive inputs. Your suggestion seems to give a better color/tonal balance. Thanks! Link to comment
sjsimmons 0 Posted August 31, 2002 Nice job with composition, making the rainbow follow the mountain. Link to comment
ray watson 0 Posted September 2, 2002 Great Shot! The colors are really nice. The boat really makes us appreciate the size of the rainbow. Link to comment
dave_smythe 0 Posted September 13, 2002 ...BORING...without the bow it looks like a p+s snapshot and the bow only slightly adds to a dull shot... Link to comment
fabriziogiudici 0 Posted December 16, 2002 It happens that the bow is the main subject. Also the Cappella Sistina is dull if you remove all the paintings from the wall... Ciao. Link to comment
