bkris 0 Posted April 8, 2008 Younes, this is absolutely stunning! The red color on the edges of the ice connects the entire photo and gives the eye a chance to wander. Spectacular. -Brad Link to comment

kurt2006 0 Posted April 8, 2008 Younes, wow, perfect. I have to tell you this: the way your GND darkens the sky rapidly is unnatural but it is dramatic and exciting and compelling, and you have corrupted me. By the way, it looks so cold up there. Come back to California :) Link to comment
john_langley2 0 Posted April 8, 2008 Great work Younes !! ( remember meeting me at this very location 1 year ago ?? What a difference a year makes - I am now living in Switzerland for another 30 months !) John Link to comment

younes 0 Posted April 9, 2008 Thanks very much everyone. John, it's funny that you commented because I actually thought of you when I got out for this shoot, a crack in the ice reminded me of the one that was there the day we met...Switzerland???? Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted April 9, 2008 Amazing, that's all I can say about it. This has all that a great landscape needs to be great; thanks for showing us some incredible place in such a good photograph. Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted April 10, 2008 "met" you on the sunset of Chris H. Sure is obvious what you specialised in. Great work which looking at your portfolio hardly comes as a surprise. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted April 10, 2008 See, Dude, this is where the 2- or 3-stop reverse grad would be just killer! (I ordered one, nearly $200...Yikes!). This is one sweet shot! Catching the color and light on the rim of the ice is outa-sight! I am thinking that ice fishing is out nowadays, and it looks a touch early for wildflowers! Stay warm and safe; and I'll catch you on the trail! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
