peter_schelling 0 Posted April 13, 2003 The project is as simple as interesting. Maybe I´d like to see some more pictures with people interacting. An less portraiture. Tehn it would be perfect. Congratulations. Link to comment
nico_. 0 Posted August 8, 2003 Really like this picture but I wonder at what speed you shot the T400CN. I love the film but not at its rated speed. The dye cloud/grain structure in the shadows as it can be seen in this and some of your other pictures just doesn't appeal to me. Given a negative like this I'd rather burn the grainy areas down to almost max black which is a couple of mouse clicks in Photoshop. The wonderful thing about this film is that because of its huge exposure lattitude you maintain shadow detail and get rid of most of the nasty grain that just doesn't work for me together with the smooth highlights and mid tones. I suppose these are difficult conditions to get your exposure right. Seems like you've managed. If you happen to have enough light maybe try and rate the film at 250. Even though it is less than one stop of overexposure this does marvels to the shadows (in my experience). But by any means: keep going! Link to comment
chandos_michael_brown 0 Posted May 26, 2004 The effect is subtle, but it improves the image. Many thanks for the suggestion. Chandos Link to comment
