The Waterfall Trail

Taken in the national park Slovak Paradise (eastern part of

Slovakia). There is a lot of fascinating gorges with waterfalls. This

photo is from gorge Velky Sokol. Tripod was used. Any comments and

ratings are welcome.

Nice perspective

This park must be an interesting place. The photo is well done. In particular the depth of field is well controlled.

This must have been a difficult location to shoot getting the light balanced in the shadows and with the white waterfall. I really like letting my eyes follow the wooden trail and ladder into the distance. Very nice.

Yes, you are right. Sometimes the contrast is very high and shooting is fairly impossible, especially when the sun is leaking to the gorges.

I wonder if a faster shutter speed would have made the waterfall look more real. Of course, you would loose some depth of field.

Very nice picture. I like the blurred waterfall, it goes well with the overall atmosphere of the photo. I'm not sure about the big black rock in the upper left corner, though. I wish it wasn't leaning so heavily into the picture, so to speak.

Very refreshing - I can almost feel the mist on my skin. :) The perspective and the rails on the trail makes this look like a roller coaster ride.
