This is fantastic. Actually I would have to disagree, I think that this looks amazing in black and white. I think there is something quite crooked about the houses, and this contrasts very well with the ocean's smoothness.

 

I think that the composition is really good, also. You have used enough ocean and enough village, and I think that the two compliment each other.

 

Generally, an amazing photo!
