connealy 0 Posted August 22, 2002 I was wondering when we would see some digital. Great colors and forms. Link to comment
john_s._flannery 0 Posted August 23, 2002 Very nice. Sharp image, clean, bright colors and just the right amount of distortion, Oopsy doon is just right for some Scots. jsf Link to comment
mg 0 Posted August 24, 2002 If you want to know why I rated this 7 in originality, it's very simple: just check my latest upload... Obviously mine is certainly not more original than yours...:-))As for aesthetics, congrats. It's a fine shot in this category. Only nit: I'd suggest to crop off the grey border at the bottom... Regards. Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted August 24, 2002 Marc, I did think about cropping the bottom but decided against it because I wanted to portray this as the house boat rather than just its reflection, hence giving it a base. Any other opinions on this point are welcome. Link to comment
boz 0 Posted August 24, 2002 This is great Hannah, wonderful use of reflections.wonder what it would look like 'upside down' Link to comment

danh1 0 Posted August 26, 2002 Reflections are so powerful. I like how you flipped the reflection rightside up. Similar to what i did in mine. Nicely done. Link to comment
_Alex_ 0 Posted August 27, 2002 This wouldn't be the same without the ripples. Truly outstanding. Link to comment
detlef 6 Posted August 27, 2002 actually I like the grey part at the bottom...finishes off/balances the images better...as for originality...have you ever see reflection shots the same....or are all reflection shot from here on in not original?...I think this is a great image! Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted October 25, 2002 Quite a shot. I'm very impressed with how this one turned out. Link to comment
jamesmorophotography 0 Posted January 22, 2003 interesting picture. I'm not sure what you were going for, maybe that atmospheric heat distortion appearance, or looking up through water at a beach house. Either way, the colors have a nice balance to them. Link to comment
sean_oflaherty 0 Posted June 21, 2003 Very mirror like reflection coming from the water. Link to comment
thomas_turk 0 Posted May 1, 2004 Definitely needs the base to stabilize the house, otherwise it may fall down. One stop down would have made it much more dramaic, and would have accentuated the white parts, and given more dark for contrast and balance. Just enough ripples to make it really fun. Good perspective. Link to comment
