karolostrivizas 2 Posted April 5, 2008 The sepia effect creates a beautiful vintage atmosphere. Amazing rich pale tonality. Link to comment
photodonn 0 Posted April 5, 2008 Thanks guys! Karloos, thanks for mentioning, I was specifically going for a much different tonal feel than "Departing", the other recent image with elephants. Trying to match the mood of the action with the mood of the treatment. Link to comment
httpwww.photo.netphoto1664881938 0 Posted April 6, 2008 The light is totally amazing and the blured plants are frameing the story in such a great way. Do you know what i like most about this image? Is that when I look at it... it's like I hear the narator whispering the story... The way you captured it doesn't provide any "before or after info" and so it allowes me to imagine the rest of the story. Donn, you got the magic! Link to comment

japi 1 Posted April 9, 2008 Wildlife is a fascinating theme for photography. This one is a fabulous moment, Donn, superbly captured. The chromatic choice works perfectly combined with the light. Congrats, greetings from Portugal. Link to comment
