heidrun_zywietz 0 Posted August 23, 2002 One of the best in this genres (macro, rust, structures)! I like it more than your "carpet fractal flowers"! Of course, it will stay unnoticed by the majority, especially because it's so humble in appearences, but by no means simple...I always dreamed of an exhibition or gallery "The Universe of Rust and Mud" as there are many fine close ups, mainly ignored...Yours one of the best! dominiquedodge 0 Posted August 23, 2002 I love the textures - which I find very "geological". My eyes wandered around the picture constantly finding more and more in it. The colours are perfect too. Thanks. Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted August 24, 2002 I am totally amazed. Look at this Jackson Pollard link! You are going to have to rename this Lavender Mist II. http://www.nga.gov/feature/pollock/artist18a.html Link to comment
adrianhinojosa 0 Posted October 8, 2002 I too enjoy detail shots of rusting objects and this is another very nice image. Did anyone else notice that this image seems to have artifacts that make it obvious this was taken with a digital camera. I can't say what it is about this picture, and in fact, I've seen lots of other images taken with the D30 that convince me it can give a Provia 35mm slide a run for the money, but this isn't one of them.
