Flag on a calm day.

I like how the blue in the sky contrasts nicly with the reds in the

flag. I also like the balance in the clouds on the left of the

picture, to off-set the weight in the right of the picture.

Comments/suggestions/questions are welcome!

I like this picture b/c usually photos of American flags (lately) have been heavy handed w/ feelings of patriotism. This photo feels calm (which is good). Not that you can control it, but thicker clouds in the top right would have been nice.

With the way the clouds are to the bottom left, it resembles an unfinished painting. I would eliminate the white border and crop it right past the clouds mentioned.

I really like this photo as I am very partial to photos of the flag. I like it's position in the frame and the clouds. On my white screen, the clouds on the left seem to blend into the background. I wonder whether a black frame would make this picture look more bold.

I like this as well. The colors contrast nicely. I agree with the earlier two though about the clouds and framing. It seems to send a "at peace" feeling, ya know? OR maybe a "stand alone" type message. I guess I'll leave the shrink stuff to the pro's :) . I do like the photo - nicely done Jacob.

The unique composition of this photo works. The viewpoint is torn between the flag and sky, finally contemplating on the flag. The striking colors complement the meaning, which reminds me of the qoute "Speak softly and carry a big stick". I agree that the lower clouds should perhaps be cropped out and maybe the clouds behind the flag could be "pumped up" a bit, but overall an interesting image.

I think waiting for a little wind and allowing the flag to billow would have added something to this photo. The colors are nice and the clouds add to the background.

I have a picture of the flag billowing in the wind and I didn't care for it as much. I'll dig around for it and add it so you can all decide for yourselves. :-)
