gsphotoguy 3 Posted August 21, 2002 This is a very nice portrait. The pose and expression are lovely for this model. The highlight side of her face is very bright. Slightly lower contrast might help this problem. The small highlight in her hair over her left eye is slightly distracting but that's being really picky:-) Link to comment
ricardojmendez 0 Posted August 21, 2002 Very nice portrait, I like it much better than your previous elongated one. I don't have a problem with the brighter right side of the face, even if it looks like it was almost lit too brightly. Nice touch of hair movement. Link to comment
mauricio_jos__schwarz 0 Posted August 22, 2002 I also like it much better than your previous. I especially like the discreet backlight. The brightness on her right cheek does not disturb me, since the light seems to "flow" well to the bottom right of the photo. It is more glamour than portrait. Link to comment
hayward 0 Posted August 22, 2002 Good portrait. Very nice, delicate light, but you lose the right edge of her hair and body to shadows. (Maybe that's what you wanted.) Link to comment
jwolford 0 Posted August 22, 2002 I like this alot. I dont think he face was too brightly lit. However, there is a little bit of hair on her left side that is a bit distracing to me. Its the little white bit by her forhead in the right of the photo. Link to comment
vatovec 0 Posted August 22, 2002 Well done, good portrait. If i have to pick something, i don`t like would be the before mentioned disapearing of the hair and dress into the background (maybe the ccd couldn`t cope with that) and the slightly too large right arm - perspective distortion due to a normal or wide angle lense - at which setting of the zoom did u shoot tha picture? julietray 0 Posted August 23, 2002 I like this shot better than the "in your face" photo. I like how the curve of the hair blown back from her face mimics the slope of her nose in the opposite direction. One thing that bugs me is how her arm gets cut off in the corner. I think I'd prefer if it were slightly forward a bit. Link to comment
v. bice 0 Posted August 29, 2002 Lovely Studio shot. Just perfect!I like your choice of light and background...it works!!! Link to comment
laurie young 0 Posted September 3, 2002 Your model has a great face, and an expression that says to me she is just about to smile, or just about to frown, and i'm not sure which. It creates a mystery which for me holds my attention. Technically the far shoulder is a bit distracting, and she dissapears into the background on the bottem right Some might say that its a bit overexposed for skin tones, but I really like it that way as it makes the skin look so good Link to comment
mg 0 Posted September 10, 2002 What a beautiful face she has... Very interesting expression as well, and good light, but you know what I regret ? I would like to see her hands. She's very gracious, and hands are part of that grace, I'm sure. Regards. Link to comment
