Great ! :-) I like it very much. It has woderful tones. It is busy but extremely well composed. The shoes and the bear tell a story.... It all works. Well done.

i love the tonality of this image but find the slippers in the foreground a bit distracting.

There is something about this picture that seems dark to me! I dunno, it's maybe the old mans slippers and the fact that the woman is holding a kids teddy bear. I think it's quiet a powerful picture.

Maxim, I like it very much! Yes, it is busy, but every detail conveys something here. Probably, it necessary to know the life in Russia to understand all the meanings... It may be a little bit too complicated for the Net, but in a large format on the wall - it IS a great image!

Complex photograph, at more than one level. Like a previous poster I too thought the image was too cluttered at first glance. But actually liked the complexity on second thoughts. Very original and well excuted shot.

It is not a photography it's a movie. So many details but enough organized not to get lost. The shoes lead us to the girl then to the bear face down, then comes others details, the fade reflection on TV, the towel on the door. I can spend long time looking at it and still I discover something, a new clue. I just want to push that door a bit more, but I afraid to disturb =O]

Thanks for posting this one.

The inclusion of the teddy bear in its current position and maybe the shoes too, makes this image appear contrived to me. Too much contrivance is something that does not appeal to me.

To balance the scales, I think it is a very nice execution of an avante guard kind of image of the genre of Helmut Newton, etc.

W/O these elements, its wonderful tone and very lovely nude (in a lovely pose) the image would have been a masterful execution of a wonderful Romantic style image.

Great studio work my friend...I am inspired and a bit envious. Thank you.

sometimes angles bother me a bit in photos like these where there's an actual story going on. I look at thousands of photos a day and if i see one thats tilted too far to the left as this one is I can't resist the temptation to to pull it into photoshop and fix it. This photo however is gorgeous. Really and truly love your work. It's interesting to see someone come from a totally different perspective. It's obvious from the comments people are making that you're pulling emotions with your work. Your photos seem strangly impersonal and highly aesthetic. The contrast is is just amazing.

I find, as a graphic illustrator, your work to be highly inventive, flawlessly executed and superbly orchestrated. I also view scads of photographs per diem...but yours'-------I simply had to stop and revel in the wonder.

This is brilliant and disturbing! The mans' slippers, the nude woman, staring blankly, teddy bear dangling from hand... really haunting!

Excellent-original work; the lighting, the details, tonality, and also the scence , u make the viewer guess astory behind the photo, and the wondeful thing is that every viewer could have him/her own story ! great job, best regards. Nima
