I have seen panels of three done many times, to show three parts of a story. In churches they are elevated to the title of triptych, often showing three important religious ideas or parts of history. What these are for baffles me.

Don't you recognize Cows when you see them Jerry? What baffles you? Who told you panel pieces must be religious or historical? They sold you a creative lie!3 panels to make one scene! Maybe if you saw it on canvas at 4 feet by 12 feet, which is how it ends up, you just might have a religious experience!!!!

... it's been like this for all your posts, right? Great job. I would LOVE to see it large. Are you doing a showing? Something I can come see? Personally, I think this is a great tryptich. You must get so sick trying to explain your stuff over and over again. But then again, even in the large, you can't really see the detail of what your work is. This one especially is quite subtle (which makes me want to see it large again.) Hope you are well. I always look forward to seeing your new posts!

Sorry Matt I could not resist:)

I think your work is perfectly suited to tryptichs. The way the borders of the Polaroids intrude into the scene is wonderful and adds another dimension. Working with a technique and vision as personal as yours is bound to generate some confused and/or confusing responses. Every now and then some helpful soul points out to me that a faster shutter speed would help me get rid of that annoying motion blur :)

Just shrug it off my friend. BTW thanks for dropping by my portfolio and leaving such encouraging remarks. All the best Gord
