hanna_cowpe 0 Posted April 5, 2008 Tony, this is certainly my cup of tea as I love experimenting with the 'shooting through' method. As a representation of the first sign of Spring, or a metaphor for many things, this image is evocative and peaceful. Composition and light are great, as is the dof. Your portfolio is remarkable in its expression and appreciation of your surroundings from the smallest and most insignificant of subjects to the grand landscapes. Thanks for sharing it. leo burkey 0 Posted December 29, 2009 The creativity sometimes comes after the image has been captured. This is a wonderful example of what can be done with a simple image, knowledge of Photoshop and a creative eye. Well done, Tony. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted December 29, 2009 Thank you very much and glad you liked it. This was taken in the Spring of 2007 in "Parc STE.Catherine" Quebec and I shot it with an old 80-200mm lens with aperture wide-open (or close) and there is either very little or no post-processing on this image (I have to look at the original since my memory is not as good as it used to be). Sidebar: the strange thing about my memory is that I can look at anyone of the thousands of images I have and it would be odd if i could not tell you at which location it was taken. All the very best for the New Year. Link to comment

magnar_b_rnes 0 Posted August 27, 2012 Love this shot. The unsharp areas have a wonderful touch. The contrast between sharp and unsharp is perfect. Very well done! Link to comment
