jim craig 0 Posted March 31, 2008 Great country scene Clayton, although wintertime I'm betting it wasn't all that cold with the appearance of that Chinook Arch in the sky that brings southern Alberta it's occasional respite from winter. Well composed , nice colors, good use of lead in lines and the side lighting very nice. The elongated fence post shadows are a real plus.. Link to comment

Yes it was chinooking at the time but it was still about -8 C with a good 35 km wind so the windchill was pretty substancial. I had a heck of a time getting my shutter speed fast enough to keep the blades of grass in the forground sharp and keep my apature small enough to maintain my dof. Link to comment
