dgv 1 Posted February 6, 2009 A stunning picture, Antoni and beautifully lit. A great shame they had to demolish the house. Link to comment
Alx 0 Posted April 21, 2009 Very elegant & beautiful image with great graphic quality ! Excellent light, colour & crop. Why the house was demolished? There is no public protection or preservation for buildings of this kind in the USA? Ciao, Alx Link to comment
tomadakis 0 Posted April 28, 2009 Alex, thank you for your positive thoughts! Yes there is protection when a home or neighborhood is declared "Historic". However I have heard of people paying the fines and doing whatever they want. This house went down in an area that has multimillion-dollar mansions. The house was not considered a keeper I guess... but the stairs were, I kept them ... here they are... Link to comment

trisha jean-angela 5 Posted June 18, 2011 Lovely light and staircase. What a shame this house was torn down; seems to be the popular thing to do...just tear down these great historic beauties and replace with ugly "Mc Mansions". I would love to have an old house with this type of character! Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
