Matt Laur 2,201 Posted March 29, 2008 A wrangler's hunt test horse waits for his rider to mount up. He carried the event's marshal through two days of muddy field tromping and bird handling. These horses, which work around shotgun fire, are "bombproof," to use the vernacular. They've seen it all. This image views best at full height. Thanks for visiting. Link to comment
danielantoniu 0 Posted March 29, 2008 Interesting angle you've chosen. Nice soft colors. I like the reflection in the horse eye. Link to comment
timkeller 0 Posted April 3, 2008 Much to fascinate here. Wonderfully composed with a great multi-colored bokeh, I like the study in sharp focus and depth of field. Absolutely original, I've seen 1,238,217 horse shots so far but none like this. Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted April 3, 2008 A beautifully unique photo! I particularly like the crisp reflection in the eye. And, your bio photo...you do look different than I imagined you. Regards, Dick Link to comment
laurent-paul 1 Posted April 4, 2008 Such an impressive photo ! perfectly composed and the tones and shapes of the background are absolutely. The focus on the reflection in the eye is brilliant. Beeing myself very open to post production ( even if I don't process my own photos very much ), I have to say that I'm really impressed by your result here where others would spend hours on photoshop and not beeing able to achieve such perfection Link to comment

trisha jean-angela 5 Posted January 27, 2010 Very beautiful image; I love the way you focused on the eye instead of the horse as a whole...it makes for a very unique photo. I love it! Thank you for sharing! :) Link to comment
Stock-Photos 1 Posted February 17, 2012 Fantastic shot Matt. One of my favorites in your portfolio because it is simple, not busy. Link to comment
