Eilean Donan Photoshopped

I have come back to this shot which I took approx 2 years ago and did

a fair bit of photoshopping. Opinions appreciated.

the vivid colors and light on the castle really jump off the page, wonderful composition.

It was well worth the work, beautiful.

SOME PEOPLE MIGHT THINK THIS TOO MUCH PSDING FOR THEIR TASTE,

I FALL INTO THIS CATAGORY.

BUT, IF I PUT THAT ASIDE, I THINK IT IS A VERY WELL DONE TREATMENT OF THE SUBJECT, NOT OVERDONE AT ALL.

IT CAN BE APPRECIATED FOR WHAT IT IS, NOT FOR WHAT I THINK IS AESTHETICALLY BEAUTIFULL.

IN THIS PERSPECTIVE, IT IS VERY INTERESTING AND COMPELLING.

Overall I like this image very much, including the colors and composition and the way it draws your eye into the castle. But then I thought maybe the castle was perhaps a little oversaturated or too contrasty or something because it seems to lack sharpness compared to other parts of the image. But maybe that's inevitable.
