MVanttaja 0 Posted March 28, 2008 I did not use any HDRI magics in creation of this image, neither any layers. First of all I use right now free software called: paint.NET. It has all the basics as far as I know. The original image is pretty well exposed but, of course, direct overall adjustments of colours, hue and saturation do not work satisfactorily. Therefore I simply divided the image to two parts: 1. Sky/clouds 2. Foreground/actual subject. For that purpose Magic Wand tool worked perfectly. To clean up some rubbish in the foreground and hill line as well as contours of the church I used Cloning tool. It all took a bit of time. I do not count minutes/hours as one gets so much carried away in that process that time does not exist. It's all that excitement that takes over in your mind. You certainly know it. Please try the above software. It's OK for guys like you and me, if I understood correctly, with relatively low budget. Cheers, Mauno Link to comment
