Red-winged blackbird

How do you think this one stacks up- just another picture of a common

bird? Taken at Great Meadows in April of this year.

I like birds, so I appreciate how hard it is to get the red-winged blackbird to sit and smile.

 

Nice expression, vibrant red, a little catchlight in the eye would help.

I've taken some pictures of red winged blackbirds, but I have trouble getting the perfect shot. I like this shot. I think that a red-winged blackbird would work well in a vampire movie.
