I Earn My Living #5

I made a photgraph of a man in New York in 1977. He was sitting in a

chair on the street with a dog and a portable tape player. The tape

was playing some music and he had the sign you see fixed to his

back." I Earn My Living with my Music" For some reason, this image

has stuck with me, while hundreds of onthers are forgotten.Isn't the

whole aesthetic of creating music in public to actually do something

or perform something or play something? So this guy was like some

post-modern street busker. This is another manifestation of this

theme. Iguess I'll have to keep going till I get it right. Thanks for
