susan stone 0 Posted May 9, 2008 Thanks everyone for your heartfelt sentiments. Mom and her constant companion "horse of course" (there's a portrait of the two of them in one of my folders) are now galloping around in another realm having a good time. My heart is lighter....... Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 9, 2008 Did not visit for a long time... too long a thread to read, but I'm not surprised. It is a beauty, looking like a legendary landscape, it is touching twice, the frame and the very sad story with it.( I have just lost a friend in nearly a similar way.) It is so very beautiful, sad ,and a very nice tribute to "Uncle Willy" Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted May 18, 2008 Great Photo! It's curious that I haven't been on PN for months and I come back today ~ My thoughts are with you during this heavy time. That was a great photo you posted of your Mom and 'Horse of course'.Even though we aren't in touch like we use to be, you are a true friend. A lot of positive energy is going your way from all of your friends, we care deeply about you.Dave Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted May 20, 2008 I'm very sorry to read (belatedly) about your mom. Words always fail to express sympathy adequately. I'm truly sorry. I like this photo a lot. Very somber. Meditative with the clouds rolling on to somewhere else. I wish you and your loved ones peace. Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted September 8, 2008 Shawn's recommendation brought me to look at your Montana pictures. Boy, do I love your world!!! I'm a city gal, but my husband and I just got back from Montana and absolutely fell in love with it! Can't wait to get back. This is such a typical scene, and a wonderful image. Your decision to do this in B&W just contributes to the austere nature of the place. Bravo! It's late here, but I'll return to spend more time on your portfolio in the near future. Where do you live in Montana? You can email me if you'd like. Thanks! Link to comment
stp 6 Posted November 18, 2012 Susan, this just came up on the random image gallery -- I hadn't seen it before. I've never seen an outhouse made of logs -- no wonder it is still standing. Quintessential Montana. Hope all is well with you. Link to comment
