Eyes

My wife and I were visiting a school in Sawai Madhopur, India. This

beautiful little girl is one of the students. Her eyes, outlined in

the red scarf, caught my attention immediately. Hope you enjoy

I agree with Marc, an unforgettable expression, striking personality and very clever composition. As an observation, I think that it's excessively softened, less PS post process is desirable, there is no texture in her very young skin. As a final comment, try it in BW.

i see what the others mean about softening it but i think this picture works. the eye makeup on the child, something very common in that part of the world intensifies the gaze. this is not bad at all. well done.

well done , there are the other things in her look , in my opinion you found them. congratulation.

Lovely and compelling.

I'd like to suggest cropping from the top to place the eyes in the top third, instead of dead center. Doing so would add impact imho.

This version seems over-sharpened for a portrait, but the concept, composition, light, and exposure are excellent.
