gcanyon 0 Posted March 22, 2008 My wife and I were visiting a school in Sawai Madhopur, India. This beautiful little girl is one of the students. Her eyes, outlined in the red scarf, caught my attention immediately. Hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I did recording it. Rick Link to comment

sideris 0 Posted March 22, 2008 I agree with Marc, an unforgettable expression, striking personality and very clever composition. As an observation, I think that it's excessively softened, less PS post process is desirable, there is no texture in her very young skin. As a final comment, try it in BW. Link to comment

starvy 7 Posted August 23, 2009 i see what the others mean about softening it but i think this picture works. the eye makeup on the child, something very common in that part of the world intensifies the gaze. this is not bad at all. well done. Link to comment

richard___7 0 Posted June 2, 2010 Lovely and compelling.I'd like to suggest cropping from the top to place the eyes in the top third, instead of dead center. Doing so would add impact imho. Thanks for sharing,RichardP.S. I tried to include a copy of how I see this image, but it wouldn't go through. Since I've never tried editing & sending of another's image, I probably just screwed it up. Sorry. Link to comment
dan_south 0 Posted March 13, 2011 This version seems over-sharpened for a portrait, but the concept, composition, light, and exposure are excellent. Link to comment
