garry_young1 1 Posted August 30, 2008 Impressive moon Haig! I'm guessing a tripod was used? Like the composition and coloring. Not sure if slightly more contrast would help in making the colors slightly more saturated, or whether it is great as is, with a pastel kind of feel. Nice anyway. Link to comment
hagar 7,643 Posted August 30, 2008 Thanks Garry.. actually this was shot at 1/200 of a sec., F 7.1, ISO 320. It was right after sunset, so there was still some light in the sky. And, no I did not have my tripod with me :-) This next shot was a few minutes earlier.. and I've left the exposure intact so you can actually see how much light there was in the sky.. and if you don't underexpose.. the moon just gets blown away.
