aslavihervuori 0 Posted March 19, 2008 You have had very difficult subject. IMO, it would look better if that branch looked sharp by leaves, too. Shorter shutterspeed, OTOH would have ruined at least look of water, perhaps sky, too. So I guess you have done best compromise here. I do not think that doing two exposures and mergeing a sharp branch to this background would have been an option at all. No ratings, a s l a Link to comment
denis grzetic 0 Posted March 20, 2008 Thank you,Asla...i think there will be few more shots posted with this branch...anyway - i think is ok that branch was moving...just the light parts like leafs are moving and the rest is still...but on the end with this kind of shots you never know what you get... john_fontana 0 Posted March 20, 2008 A beautifully minimalistic shot. The movement in the leaves is perfect, and the toning of the shot wonderful. Were the light conditions very low, since you have blurred movement in sea and leaves at maximum aperture? Link to comment
denis grzetic 0 Posted March 21, 2008 Thank you,John (BTW i was reply to your e-mail) it was late evening but the aperture was 9 or 11 (i usually don't use smaller then this)...take few shots with ND filter and few without so this is not the last one posted... Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted March 25, 2008 Classy. I love how you've taken something rather plain and with appropriate time and attention elevated it to a dream. Link to comment
