carbonix 1 Posted March 22, 2008 Nice portrait pnina ,very meaningful. I am not sure if it is possible to stop people from mistaking. But I am sure a big mistake is a mistake man makes without trying to stop. I wish people can learn from past mistakes or at least from their own .Best wishes for you and your loved one and peace ! iancoxleigh 0 Posted March 22, 2008 Very nice portrait with a compelling statement. You have chosen an excellent subject and captured him very well in order to convey your title effectively. His face certainly does express 'peace' beautifully. It is impressive that you managed to find and convey such an open, accepting, and peaceful face on such a young person. The people I meet who are this age are full of emotion and tension -- we should all find out what lies behind this man's success. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted March 22, 2008 It's always a good idea to affirm peace and truth wherever you find it. I don't have any clue what the context for the portrait is, but there is a peace that seems settled over him. And that peace, if only momentary, is a lovely thing to capture. Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted March 24, 2008 Ian and Jeff. Maybe, that strong faith brings some peace of mind to some of the people, but I myself don't see the religion and faith as a remedy to what I see around the world. Link to comment

kirk d 0 Posted March 25, 2008 Always did like the sound of that word especially when the "m" is a little drawn out kind of like a meditation. Either didn't know or forgot it meant peace; thanks for the reminder. I too like the lighting, it is a little bright in some places but not in a bad way. You sure you didn't go to Canada and take this of Gordon? It kind of looks like his latest portrait he posted. Kirk Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 25, 2008 Kirk I like Gordon's bio, but this one and his portrait are world apart....;-)) Amal and Kirk, I have met yesterday in Jerusalem a PN member that is visiting Israel, we are good cyber friends, and he explained once to me that what his prist told him, is that SHALOM has a wider meaning than just a greeting, I totaly agree with him, and with both of you. Alberto, thanks as well for all your feedback. Thanks. Link to comment
