peten 0 Posted August 17, 2002 Not quite sure if this is a landscape or a skyscape! It was the sky which drew my eye, foreground I,m not sure about.Comments? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 17, 2002 The sky is, indeed, beautiful and gives it a good backdrop for the pink flowers to contrast against. In terms of composition, there might be some possible balance issues in the foreground. Just a gut feeling ... let's hear what the rest say ... Link to comment
mudshark 0 Posted August 18, 2002 I like this a lot. I would like to see more detail in the flowers. Move closer or crop out some of the left side while maintaing the aspect ratio. I also like the detail you were able to capture in the shadows. Nice shot Peter. Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted August 18, 2002 Stands on its own, maybe the shells (?) on the right foreground are kind of distracting, cropping 1/5th would be better I guess. I like the green complementing the blue of the sky. Link to comment
pedja 1 Posted August 19, 2002 I like this picture. Composition is OK. Maybe, the contrast is too high, and the shadow under the flowers is too strong. Did you use fill-in flash? Link to comment
paul_frank 0 Posted August 20, 2002 I think a little off-camera fill flash under those plants would have done wonders. I like it but without detail there it seems incomplete to me. Link to comment
bees knees 0 Posted August 24, 2002 I like this photo and find the composition very interesting. The shadowy (is that a word?) area under the flowers bothers me a bit because I can't really tell what those objects are. Love the blue and green with the small dollops of pink. Link to comment
