Wow. Really very good. Wonderful "expressions" (body and...face, er beak 'n eyes). Sorry, but I'm speechless. What can I say. A very hangable image. For me this picture is cute as well as being an interesting window on animal life's intimate daily duties. Cute little foot-raise by the parent. Nice little water reflections.

Butch - it's useless giving you more accolades - you just seem to have "the magic touch"! Absolutely rapted in your bird folder ...... and this charming shot is another great addition. If I were to be picky, I would suggest that the fine blue frame is just a tad bright and has the effect of closing the image in a bit - but, hey, who cares with such a delightful scene!!

This is a very nice shot of a terrific moment. Sharpness, framing and composition are good. The high resolution of this one must be superb.

Nice photo Butch! This wasn't actually shot in Ashburn was it? I used to travel a lot between Fitzgerald and Cordele and can't imagine where this would have been between the two. All the heron rookery photos in your folder make sense, but this would seem to be St. Simons, Jekyll Island, or somewhere like that... Just curious. Wonderful photo though - quite envious!!

Nice social interplay. Birds are fascinating living things.
