david_thrower 0 Posted March 15, 2008 Hi Everyone This was taken for a street lighting manufacturer who lit all main roads in this scene. 12 shots stitched together in PS3 taken with Canon 5D and 200mm 2.8 L lens. Thankyou for looking. Link to comment

david_thrower 0 Posted March 15, 2008 Hi Michael Thankyou for your kind comments - much appreciated. I took this shot from the Clifton Suspension Bridge as it gave a good view of the motorway. I did get some shots actually next to the road running past the central building in the picture and from a top floor window in that same building but none of them were as interesting as the panoramic. I always shoot in RAW mode and in manual and basically used the histogram to decide on the best exposure then panned around the scene taking 12 shots with the camera in portrait position at the same exposure and with auto white balance. I then colour corrected the final panoramic in one go in PS3. The colour could be cooler and show slightly more nuetral colours but then the warmth is lost from the picture. I think the exposure was about 6 seconds at ISO 100 but I will check the RAW file and let you know if it was vastly different. The aperture was around F16. Sorry to be a bit vague but I did shoot this about 5 months ago. Link to comment
