michael_meyer7 0 Posted March 14, 2008 I would not keep it. An asphalt road is not a very interesting subject. You can't see the mountains and what we can see is unimpressive. It seems that you simply stopped the car and took a shot. That is not going in general going to cut it. You might have to bushwack, scramble, climb and do whatever is necessary to get to a better view or, if such cannot be found, leave the camera in the bag.
irsteve 0 Posted March 15, 2008 Sorry - but for me this IS a keeper - I like the curve of the road, the colourful flowers, the clouds and valued memories of a great vacation. True - I stopped the car and took a shot but many fine shots are taken from the roadside - in towns and cities as well as the countryside so one doesn't neccessarily need to bushwack, scramble, or climb : Welcome to Photo.net ....
