IMHO this works much better than the lower contrast version in your portfolio. The clouds don't work for you well in this shot- I would have waited awhile for them to make better separation with the tops of the buildings. If you get a chance be sure to try these using a view camera- the view camera movements will allow you to make your verticals vertical and correct other perspective distortions...Keep shooting!
